Turquoise Trail Ring
Ribbon Turquoise is a stone with a thin slice of turquoise in the middle. Many lapidaries will take the raw turquoise and cut and polish to reveal a full face of turquoise. The trend in the Southwest is to slice across the raw turquoise to reveal how turquoise runs through the veins of minerals and the polished gemstone appears to have a 'river' or 'ribbon' of turquoise running through it. The sand-colored mineral is called rhyolite. This stone is one-of-a-kind and rarely found cut in this rectangular shape, which makes it all the more unique.
This ring is made with sterling silver and fine silver. It is sized at a 6.5.
